The tour of Ireland 2019 - Dublin to The Shannon via Some Mountains
Having been flagged since late in 2018, the starting point of Dublin seemed to some regulars a difficult destination. Yet seven hardy souls found their way to Dublin and on to the accommodation in the Wicklow Mountains before a circular tour taking in Sally Gap, Naas, Portlaoise, Tullamore and Garadice.
Much Guinness was sampled, and stunning scenery admired, during the course of an excellent week’s cycling. Towers were climbed, castles visited and some of Ireland’s finest hospitality sampled in-between the taking of Guinness.
Despite the logistics of getting to the start, The Fridays’ Ireland 2019 Tour turned into a classic, storing up great memories for those that took part. Download the full report to share the experience.
