Crossing The River - 6 May (night ride)

Ride Leader Nick says:

We’re hardly leaving London for this one. We’re crossing the Thames by every step-free bridge (and one lock, but not the M25) between Tower Bridge and Maidenhead Bridge, passing those with steps along the way. 30 crossings, plenty of photo opportunities. We’ll be hugging the riverside as much as possible, through the city, across parkland and along towpaths. It’s just over 100km and there aren’t any hills – but we’ll probably be slowed by traffic lights and junctions, so don’t expect an early finish. The halfway stop is a surprise location – I’m still looking. There will be breakfast in Maidenhead, from where there are frequent TfL Crossrail trains back to London.

Please note this ride will start from Potters Fields on Tooley Street. There is a pub (Two Bridges) opposite and toilets in the park or London Bridge station just over the road.

Registration will open nearer the date.
